John Havermann is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Fornax Advanced Materials, Inc. and serves on the company’s board of directors.

Before being named CEO in July 2023, John was the Vice President, Growth for Parsons’ Defense & Intelligence business, where he led strategic initiatives to align, strengthen and grow the Spectrum Dominance, Cyber and Intelligence Community portfolios. He also championed and led efforts to improve Parsons’ access to OSD’s classified procurement program.

John’s previous roles include executive leadership and management positions at RTX, SAIC and General Dynamics, where he developed a reputation for excellence in weapons systems design, manufacturing and on-time delivery. He also served as Board Chair of the National Cyber Security Alliance and as Technical Advisor to the Maryland Cyber Investment Partnership.

John is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, with distinguished service in the Intelligence, Communications and Space communities. He holds an MBA and Bachelor of Science in Information Systems degrees from the University of Maryland.
