Ellen Lux is Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Fornax Advanced Materials, where she oversees the operations of the company.

Ellen joined Fornax Advanced Materials in 2023, bringing over 35 years of experience in the aerospace and defense community. For the past 24 years, Ellen has held several challenging executive roles within the finance, operations, supply chain, program management, and quality assurance organizations of RTX. She is a certified Internal Auditor and Six Sigma Expert proficient in Lean Manufacturing.

Prior to joining RTX, Ellen was the CEO of the Rockdale, Texas Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit
organization. She was responsible for promoting the economic interests of the community and
advocating for business owners and employers.

Ellen is a decorated veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where she served as a communications officer in
multiple combat theaters. She has held leadership positions in several industry associations, including chair of the Conflict Minerals Working Group of the Aerospace Industry Association, and lead of an international pilot for collecting supplier provenance within the International Aerospace Environmental Group.

Ellen holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Tampa, and a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management from the University of San Diego.
